Stupid question time...

Does anyone know how to the change the time that is indicated in the upper display.

Can't seem to find it explained in the manual.

Try the Navigation Manual, and System Setup. I believe the vehicle gets its time adjusted via the GPS receiver, and that is what is displayed in the upper panel above the center speaker.

Technically, the software DVD sets the time based on the time hacks from the GPS satellite and your position on the earth which indicates which time zone you are in. This is why the DVD has the DST control in it.

 

FWIW...the other day, I checked my clock against my atomic watch and it was off by less than one second. Not too bad.
