Has anybody been able to get a driveshaft from extended warranty?

Hello all! It's been a while. My 05 is still doing good, I just put new Kumho Ecsta's on it. The rust bubble on the trunklid never grew but there is a new one under the door handle. The Acura dealer is submitting to Acura since I have 81K mile so we'll see where that goes. I had it in the shop today for the VSA recall. They also noted that I have a leaking power steering pump so I'll use my extended warranty for that. It's from a third party through my bank and I had it on my Pilot and they paid when I had a claim them. Now, I am wondering what are the chances of getting a new driveshaft as well? I feel like it's getting louder but that might be my new tires that are quiet. It's part of the driveline and it's a bearing failure that caused it. Should I call the warranty company first just to make sure both repairs are "covered components"? That driveshaft is like $2500 if I remember.

I think I will renew my extended warranty when it's up. Even if it's expensive, it's cheap. Just the power steering pump is going to cost $1000!
