06 RL damaged by Hail this week-end,,,pock marks all over Carbon Gray Body,,,called insurance, getting estimate, special fix needed?,,,

 

A good paintless dent guy can get it as good as new.

Search for MikeTX's thread on hail damage on his previous TL (here in the RL section). He detailed the entire process and his TL came out looking pretty well.

 

In 1995 my 1 week old Honda Accord EXV6 was damaged by hail. It had 366 miles on it. I was just beside myself what could be done to repair. The PDR guy did a great job. A few palces he could not get to had to be 'pulled from the outside and filled/sanded/painted. I picked it up the day of the OK City tragedy at the Murrah Bldg.

A lot a bad stuff seems to happen on 4-20.

 

Update on Hail Damage: damage estimate $3.0, will have to remove sun roof, roof liner, trunk inner, hood liner ,etc to be able to "push out" dents,,,the outer aluminum is sure soft,,,

In hopes the cosmetics and windproofing can be retained in this car,,,been assured this can be done by these paintless engineers,,,
