Had my motor mounts replace

I took my 05 RL up to the dealership to have my front and side motor mounts replaced. Now everytime I accelerate I'm hearing this humming noise coming from the front of the car. Anyone every experience this when having your mounts change. The dealer can figure out what's wrong..

May not have anything to do with the mount replacement. Can you be more specific about the symptoms?

because the tech's did go in and perform slight surgery, they could have not put something back or damaged another part but not necessarily isolated to motor mounts.

some one will have to diagnose or further deduce where the noise is coming from...

there is just too little information to diagnose over the internet, as it could be MILLIONS of things.

It only stop making this humming noise when I accelerate, when I'm coasting I don't hear it. It sounds like something is not tight,etc...

because of the recent work that was done; something might not be hooked up correctly....

or some one left some tools in the engine bay.

or.....some one damaged another component inside your engine bay....

or a vacuum hose wasnt hooked up.....

there's literally thousands and thousands of reason why your car is humming when in drive.

some one will need to look at your car and determine where the noise is coming from.
which we cant do over the internet.

If the noise wasn't there before you brought it to the dealer to change out your mounts then it's most likely related to the install of the mounts. Bring it to the attention of the dealer who perform the repair.

Ok,I got my car back from the dealership. The problem was there was debris from the old motor mount hitting up against a shield. Now it drives good again.
