Today my 06 RL started making an odd noise and it sounds like it's coming from the front right under the hood, but I can't pin point it. It's hard to describe, kinda a cross between a ch-ch-ch and a ping-ping-ping.

Looking thru the forums, I've heard mentions of tensioner pulley, power steering, drive belts but no videos to go along with them.

Does this ring a bell with anyone on here?

Two things to check...first is to see if the tensioner bearing is going out on you. You didn't say how many miles are on the car and when the last timing belt was done, as that would help us determine what it could be.

Watching the video, I couldn't help but hear the valves clattering. You should get them adjusted. It would be so much more quiet. Maybe not, the microphone could be a lot more sensitive , picking up on the noise
