My wife currently owns a 2005 and we found a 2009 that we're interested in. She wants to be able to stream Pandora and things (not.sure what else to be honest).

 

09 has BT audio, 05 does not. 09 has rear view camera, 05 does not. That's about it.

 

She should be able to play the Pandora from her phone through the Bluetooth. Worst case, you buy a $4 3.5mm cable, and play it through the AUX port.

 

Yep. You also get real-time traffic if you subscribe to XM. Adding to the other mentioned changes, that's about it. Bluetooth steaming, USB, AUX, and the rear camera+ audible backup sensors(dealer installed accesory). You could stream Pandora through your phone via Bluetooth or via AUX, but the app would have to be controlled through your phone.

 

Just FYI, the 05 RL also has XM live traffic (requires subscription) and getting dealer installed backup sensors was also available.
