H-001: Maintenance Indicator

Still a newb, after reading thru the manual I understand the car will basically tell me when regular maintenance is needed (oil changes, etc) by lighting an indicator. How do I reset this if I am getting the work done at an independent shop that is NOT an Acura dealer?

1. Turn ignition on (II position)
2. If the oil life minder is not displayed, press the SEL/RESET botton on the steering wheel repeatedly until it is
3. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button until reset mode appears in display (about 15-20 seconds)
4. Use arrow up/arrow down to select reset

Yes.

So you read the manual to find out about the maintenance minder, but missed the whole section about resetting it?
