Gear selector SWAP

I own a ‘05 Acura RL. I am curious as to whether it is possible to swap gear shift selector with ‘09+ model?

If you're talking about the shift knob in the center, I believe the answer is yes.

The 2009 is the MMC, where they changed to the straight up and down selector. It has a sport mode. The pre-MMC RLs have a gated selector that does not have a sport mode below D, but instead is 3 and 2. I don't think it's possible to swap easily.

Now, if you simply want to change the knob head, that's easy. On mine, I have the wood knob.
