Front caliper body seals

Anyone have a lead on getting the gaskets that seal the two halves for these advics 4 pot calipers? I’m looking to completely rebuild a spare set and I can’t seem to find any other than part of a very expensive rebuild kit that doesn’t come with pistons from FFC (fat four customs). Anyone? I appreciate any leads.

I've already checked rock auto. They only have the piston seals. There are two halves to these calipers and I assume there is a gasket or seal of some sort as the brake fluid enters the back half and must travel under pressure to the front half to compress the other two pistons. They don't show it as a part in the OEM diagram, however, Fat Four Customs has a rebuild kit with new bolts, piston seals and the ever elusive body seal they say, but it's $150. Thought maybe someone has had to take the halves apart at some point and would have an idea what to use.

If you look at the photos of the RockAuto ones, there's 15 seperate seals in the ACDelco kit ... are you certain that none of those are the caliper gaskets ?

Have you split yours apart yet to see what the gasket actually looks like ?

No I haven’t and I’m scared to do so without knowing I have the correct seals in case it’s ruined upon disassembly. I thought in the kits 12 of the round pieces are for the pistons, one looks like the bleeder cap and two copper banjo bolt crush washers. Maybe I’m wrong.

Front calipers are not that complicated. All you need are seals and boots to build them.

This is caliper overhaul from service manual.

Ok so I took a caliper apart completely and there are only two tiny rubber seals for passages on either end of the caliper halves. The kit mentioned above does in fact include these as well as a bleed screw cap. So in conclusion, unless you want to replace the bolts holding the caliper halves together, you need nothing but this kit and bleed screws and red grease compatible with brake fluid for a complete caliper rebuild. Unless your pistons are or get damaged.
