Fix yet for the "dead Battery" problem?
Just so I understand this right, it's possible to leave the car in 'acc' mode, get out and drain the battery right? All because the RL has this fancy key less ignition. Do other cars with this feature behave the same way? I suppose there is some value to being able to leave the car in 'acc' when you leave but only a little. With an ignition key you have to leave the key in the car so you're either not locking it or locking the car with the keys in inside (doh!).
Anyway, sounds like it shouldn't behave this way. When you walk away from the car with the engine off it should lock the doors and go to sleep. Or at least beep like a maniac to warn you or something.

I do think it should beep but I have to wonder how people can leave their car in ACC mode and not know. The lights stay on, the radio stays on, etc.
I dunno...I have never done it so maybe if it ever happens to me I will better understand

It does give out a warning when the ignation knob is not turned all the way. The other indications are: No green key light and the steering wheel doesn't move away from the driver. It however doesn't leave the radio and lights on. This position is people mistakenly leave the car on is not the ACC mode.
What is confusing is that the RL gives out a warning chim when the door is open with the headlight control at "Auto", and this sounds like the warning when the ignation knob is not turned all the way counter clock wise. The two sounds are diffferent, but not by much.
