first the door handle - now the windows

I have the drivers door handle replaced last week. Now I noticed that the power windows for both rear doors do not work from the drivers console. Sounds like they did not put the door panel back on properly. Back to the dealer again!

There's a thread on how to get that fixed without dealer intervention.

I think you're supposed to put each window down, keep holding button for like 5 secs.

That should reset them.

Neuronbob answered that question recently, you can try searching for his post in case I am off.

you need to reset the windows. push and hold the down button for each one 5 seconds, and then push and hold the up button for 5 seconds. Check from the master switch and it should work. I think this procedure is outlined in the owners manual as well, but not sure. If you press on the unlock button on the fob twice and hold it the second time, it should unlock car and roll down all windows and open sunroof as well. If the sunroof does not open, the reset procedure is very similar to the rear windows. Good luck!

Thanks guys - you saved me a trip to the dealer. Now why didn't he do that before he told me that the car was ready?
