Finally added what the US-Spec RL was missing.... PFM (POWER FOLDING MIRRORS) ! I have no idea why the US-Spec Acura RL didn't come with them in the first place. Anyways, I basically purchased a used set of mirrors that had the power folding feature which came off a JDM-Spec Honda Legend KB1 from eBay. I followed @titomang excellent PFM retrofit write-up (https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...irrors-911689/) to help guide me with the retrofit! With out it I would have been so LOST! Here are the results~!
Looks great! One critique: can't you find a better switch and get rid of that huge very cheap-looking one?
I probably can, but for now I just followed the write up. Maybe later down the road I will open up the oem switch to see if I can get that working for the pfm.
Glad you got it working but just like mentioned above need to get rid of the external switch, Need to get the factory switch working like OEM like I did the only down side to that is that it only works when ignition is on.

You got it to work w/ the oem switch!?? Do you have a write up on how you wired it? Please share details! I also bought a module that works with Hondas/ Acuras which gives power for 5 seconds to auto fold/ unfold when you lock and unlock the car. But it has to be wired to the original oem switch. Once I can get the oem switch working I can install the module as well.
