So after going to test drive the BMW 530xi, the Infiniti M35x, and the Acura RL. Me and my dad decided that the RL is the best fit for him, (leaving me with the 02 TL-S to myself ). He is going to buy it early January with the Tech-package, including the CMBS and all that jazz. But what we are really caught up on is color right now. We both think Red is the best color, but want the toupe interior. Thoughts anyone?

 

Colour is such a personal thing that your father has to simply choose his favourite. Darker interiors are likely to be easier to keep looking clean. Any lighter coloured dash will tend to reflect more in the windshield versus a dark dash but this is only an issue in certain lighting conditions. Darker interiors tend to be a bit hotter in sunny climates but nothing that a bit of tinting can't deal with.

Agreed, it is such a personal decision - none of us can make it for you. You could start a thread with all the colors asking what exterior color people have. I would guess the opulent blue would have been the most popular - and I say that only because my dealer (although they are a bunch of idiots) said that the color they ordered and sold the most was the blue. though
