1. Hello guys I am getting a rattling from the rear shelf area, I took the car to my local dealer 2 months ago they said it was fixed with some foam but the noise is back and even worse. It sounds like something is loose. It happens when iam on rough roads.

2. Since lately my trunk release in the back does not seem to open when I am behind the car sometimes. E.g. i went to empty stuff from my trunk with my driver door is open the trunk does not release, so i have to manually go back to the car and use the button on the door. It sometimes doe not even work with my Key release.

3. Steering wheel does not retract sometimes.

4. Getting a lag in power sometime. E.g. If I am doing let’s say 35mph and decide to speed up car goes into a sluggish hesitation mode ( sounds like it's reving but going no where before it picks up.

5. When i use the trunk release it only pops the trunk but the trunk does not go up. Is this normal.

 

Could be the rear windowshade. This has been previously reported. Definitely on the dealer to repair this.

Sensor or latch not working. I can understand how that would be aggravating. Could also be dying battery.

Classic symptom of dying battery or current draw. Happened to me before my RL battery died.

It sounds like you need to press the accelerator harder to kick the tranny down another gear. Not sure there's anything wrong, but I'm sure others will jump in to help out here.

Does your car have a rear spoiler? If so, then absolutely yes. If not, then still probably yes.

 

Rob, thanks allot for your help. I wanted to know if my original warranty is out will they still address the rear rattle from sunshade?

 

the trunk just pops it does not open all the way and maybe you need to change your transmission and diff fluids.
