"Exhilaration Mastered" Ad
Watching the Cavs play in the NBA finals just now. They're kicking a$$ finally.
Anyway, I just saw a great ad a couple of minutes ago for the RL. Basically it was a guy driving home on his commute in the RL, engine racing (which is what caused me to notice the ad as I was talking to my wife--sounded like me racing home in MY car). They had a couple of nice shots of the interior, with more engine sound. The tagline was "Exhilaration Mastered".
Way to go, Acura! Nice ad with awesome placement during the NBA finals. Put it on YouTube for the RL's adoring fans!
Maybe Acura hasn't given up on the RL after all?

I Googled for the name of that ad, but came up empty. Someone at Acura's ad agency must have been here, seen all those threads on dynos and engine sounds......and made an ad from it. Great idea!
Unfortunately for the Cavs....they're looking at a shutout.
Why does (insert your deity of choice) continue to frown on Cleveland sports? Sorry for hijacking my own thread.

GoHawks, thanks for the tip. The key was that Acura calls the ad "time lapse", a little different from the TV ad, which ends with the tagline I noted above. That "RL video" on the Acura website listing all the features (can't link it here, sorry--go to Acura website, then select "RL", then "photo and video gallery") needs to be one of their TV ads.
CL6, that was the Cuyahoga River burning in 1972, and the championship drought here has been since 1964, so nope, the gods have been frowning on Cleveland since at least 1964. And thanks for the reminder of that embarassment.
Actually, the river is remarkably clean now.

Being a Pittsburgher, and out of respect for Neuronbob, I will bite off my lip and not make any comments or make any jokes about Cleve Land....for now!
As for the commercial, maybe they actually payed attention to what we said on our posts and thus created said commercial!!!
