I don't remember how I originally found this car but, I made an inquiry directly to the dealer earlier this week.
I asked why it wasn't CPO and the rep said because it was involved in an accident. OK, not interested.

Today, I checked Ebay, as I often do and both the Autocheck and Carfax state, NO accident!

WTH?

 

Carfax & Autocheck only document the accident if the person files a report & an insurance claim.

If they didn't report it & get it fixed at their friend's auto body shop under wraps, it would not show up on the two sites.

Always get any car inspected by a reputable, eagle eyed mechanic of your choice. A real good one can tell a car's history just by looking at it.

I was surprised to find out it couldn't be CPO'd due to an accident, musta been bad?

 

the local dealer we bought from won't even put it on their lot if it has been painted for any reason. You can hide a lot of damage under new paint.
