today I noticed as I raised/lowered my driver's side window it is making a VERY faint noise...

i've had window regulators go out before..and have had them get VERY noisy... to the point that it sounded like something grinding up in my door... this noise is similar in "nature"..but it's VERY VERY quiet...

i suspect I have a window regulator going out but it is just starting....

have any of you dealt with this on a car with 60k miles? i woudl think a frickin' window regulator shoudl last longer on a luxury car like the RL... but who knows... maybe it is a common failure point.. it is the drivers window..which is the one that goes up / down 99% of the time... so it is a wear item.

one last question - I have a CPO warranty... is this a warranty item or am I doing to get the "this is a wear and tear item" crap from Acura and they won't cover it???

if i have to fix this - is it pricey? thanks.

 

Turn the radio up. It should be a warranty item, but if it is VERY faint and still functions normally otherwise, I don't think you will get anything from the dealer.
