Driver Door will not Lock

Did a search and couldn't find it.

Picked up an 05 RL a few weeks ago and never really noticed that the driver door never locks. When I lock all the doors via Remote and then leave the remote in the house the driver door is still unlocked. When I drive I have the MID to Lock all doors and the Driver door lock shows Red (Unlocked) When I use the Driver handle all the doors will lock except for the driver door.
If I manually lock the door from the inside and then close the door the remote nor the handle will unlock the driver door.
If I had to guess I would say a solenoid but just want to make sure.
Any suggestions, looking through previous posts it seems there was some issue but couldn't tell if this was it or something else and if it was covered under a recall.

TIA

The door handle problems from previous threads are mostly referring to the locks not working when touching the handle due to moisture and the capacitive switch they use. This is not your problem, because all the locks would work if you used the remote. If you like fixing stuff yourself, pull the panel off the door and you should be able to check the solenoid etc. to see where the malfunction is.... or, have a dealer check it out.

I've had TL panels off, its nothing you cant do with out tracking what screws went where.

You could also score a service manual, that would only help.

See the service manual in the Garage sticky, about fourth one down. Open the garage and you will a link to site that has the entire manual hosted on it in individual pdf chapters.

Good luck
