The passenger side front door exterior handle dimple/keyless lock-unlock feature began to work intermittently a few months ago on my 06 RL. I had always used just 1 keyfob. The dealer estimated it would cost $800 to replace the exterior handle. The finish on the silver buttons on the keyfob has completely worn off so I decided a few days ago to start using the other keyfob for the 1st time.

Interestingly, the passenger side door handle now locks and unlocks all of the time. I had replaced the batteries in the old fob a few months back and did not have issues with the drivers door. It appears the issue is the remote keyfob and Not the door handle!

Now the only issue I have is that my Nav stored addresses are all linked to the old keyfob. I called Acura Care today and they tell me you cannot transfer the Nav data from 1 keyfob to another so I will have to manually input all addresses.

The Hands-Free Bluetooth had also been dropping a lot of incoming calls.....I will see if this keyfob change also fixes this issue.
