DIY for timing belt?

Looked for a DIY on changing a timing belt and water pump for an 05 RL but am not running into. Does anyone know of a manual online I can download or anyone know of a thread about this that I may have missed?
Thanks in advance

Here's the procedure for replacing the water pump on a '05 RL:

The radio may have a coded theft protection circuit. Obtain the code before disconnecting the battery, removing the radio fuse, or removing the radio.

  1. Remove the right upper fender trim.
  2. Check that the No. 1 piston Top Dead Center (TDC) mark on the front camshaft pulley and the pointer on the front upper cover are aligned.
  3. Remove the right front wheel.
  4. Remove the splash shield.
  5. Remove the drive belt.
  6. Remove the drive belt auto-tensioner.
  7. Support the engine with a jack and wood block under the oil pan.
  8. Remove the ground cable, then remove the side engine mount bracket.
  9. Remove the front upper cover and rear upper cover.
  10. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
  11. Remove the lower cover. (refer to this RL Timing Belt Cover diagram)
  12. Remove one of the battery clamp bolts from the battery tray, and grind the end of it as shown.

  13. Screw the battery clamp bolt in. Only tighten it by hand, do not use a wrench.
  14. Remove the engine mount bracket
  15. Remove the idler pulley bolt and idler pulley, then remove the timing belt.
  16. Clean the timing belt pulleys, timing belt guide plate, and the upper and lower covers.
  17. Set the timing belt drive pulley to TDC by aligning the TDC mark on the tooth of the timing belt drive pulley with the pointer on the oil pump.
  18. Set the camshaft pulleys to TDC by aligning the TDC marks on the camshaft pulleys with the pointers on the back covers.
  19. Remove the auto-tensioner.
  20. Align the holes on the rod and body on the tensioner.
  21. Use a press to slowly compress the tensioner and insert a 0.08 inch (2 mm) pin through the body and rod. Make sure the pressure to compress the tensioner does not exceed 2,200 lbs. ft. (9,800 N).
  22. Install the tensioner with the pin still in place.
  23. Screw the battery clamp bolt in as shown to hold the timing belt adjuster in its current position. Only tighten it by hand, do not use a wrench.
  24. Loosely install the idler pulley with a new bolt so the pulley is free to move but does not come off.
  25. Install the timing belt in a counterclockwise sequence as follows:
  26. Drive pulley
  27. Idler pulley
  28. Front camshaft pulley
  29. Water pump pulley
  30. Rear camshaft pulley
  31. Adjusting pulley
  32. Tighten the idler pulley bolt 33 ft. lbs. (44 Nm).
  33. Remove the pin from the tensioner.
  34. Remove the battery clamp bolt from the back cover.
  35. Install the engine mount bracket.
  36. Install the timing belt guide plate as shown.

  37. Install the lower cover.
  38. Install the crankshaft pulley, do not use an impact wrench. Hold the pulley and tighten the bolt to 47 ft. lbs. (64 Nm) plus turn an additional 60 degrees.
  39. Rotate the crankshaft pulley six turns clockwise so the timing belt positions itself on the pulleys.
  40. Turn the crankshaft pulley so its white mark lines up with the pointer.
  41. Check the camshaft pulley marks, they should be as illustrated.

  42. Install the front upper cover and rear upper cover.
  43. Install the side engine mount bracket, then tighten the bolts in the numbered sequence shown.

  44. Install the remaining components in the reverse order of removal.

I'm not sure if that is for him or me.

OP, in the garage there is a service manual that should spell it out.

Here is the link. The Crankshaft pulley removal begins on page 12.
