Disable/turn off volume on Backup sensors 09 RL

Bought a sweet CPO 2009 RL that had back up sensors installed by dealer. Thought it was cool until I mounted my bike on the trunk rack to find that it made the sensors go off! I would prefer to turn off the volume rather than disable completely. The dealer says they would have to remove the trunk liner to get to it. Any hints on how to do it myself?

Thanks!

Don't know about the volume, but pulling the fuse would be an easy disable.

I was thinking you could get fancy and put a valet style switch in that disabled either the power to it or the signal to the sensors.

I dont know how its wired up so I'm not sure how plausible this is.
