The creaking moonroof is really the weeather stripping around the moonroof glass rubbing against the body. WHen I notice it, I will treat the weather stripping with a good rubber conditioner (i.e. Meguiars or any other brand), and then I'll open the moonroof and apply a fresh coat of wax on the inside of the roof opening where the rubber touched the metal.

Thant usually takes care of it for a while. I typically only have to do that three or four times a year.

I'm at 81k but most of my driving is around the Las Vegas valley. Too many casinos and not enough time

Yep....see that funny yellow warning light? After 250K miles, get used to seeing it. It's mostly false readings like: Tire Pressure--ZERO; Emissions all f'ed up; Airbag ready to explode or not explode--who knows. Other than that, it's tip top, beeatches! I'm ready to drive it into a brick wall just to see if I can kill it once and for all.

The little yellow warning light will not turn off until you start speaking proper English and discontinue swearing.

I have a 2007 and just passed the 150,000 mile mark. The only things that I have done other than routine maintenance is replaced both armrest for a total cost of $120. Still really enjoy the car!!!

151,000 miles. 147k of them since March of 2008.

2006 RL Tech / CMBS

Best of All still drives, performs, handles, feels, and looks factory fresh! I get a lot of people that think it is a brand new car and are shocked when they hear the age and miles.

Before reading this post, I thought that I had a lot of miles. Now I realize I am just breaking it in. 2006 with 95K here.

I am starting to see some issues though (the infamous HID flicker, and burnt out bulbs in the instrument panel), are the major ones that are irking me at the moment.

I noticed HID flicker in passenger side 2-3 times since I got the car a month ago but what is weird I simply leave my HIDs on AUTO and since then I never noticed any flicker at all.

I don't know if that's related but I was already told by the tech guy at Acura Dealership that they hate RL - does not bring them any money since most of the things people end up replacing often is HID bulbs - he said average is about 1.5 to 2 years out of one set.

I can live with that

So he hates the RL b/c the only thing that ever needs replacing is something that is supposed to burn out? He should be proud he works for a company that builds quality products.

114k miles, 2006 RL w/ Technology package
Bought it at 113k.
Had all service done by previous owner, no issues.
Took it to Acura to have them take a good once-over and they found 0 problems. Only issue, I bought car w/ one key, so I bought one off ebay and am having Acura reprogram it (hardly the car's fault, more like previous owner's fault!)

Current mileage on your 2G RL

I know the 2G RL can go past 200k easily because someone on here sold his not too long ago w/ 200k+ miles. I'm curious to know what mileage current 2G RLers are at? Anyone past 300k?

Mines is an 07 w/ 20k right now. I plan on keeping it forever unless the RLX can change my mind.

Routine maintenance by MID. Still using 3rd set of tires, 2nd set of brake pads, original rotors.
Biggest expense = 2X HID bulbs.
