Corrosion/mold in corners of side windows

Anyone have a white corrosion (or mold) in the corners of your windows?

Specifically, I'm talking about the upper rear corner of the front passenger's windows and the upper front corner of the rear passenger's windows.

Know what it is? If so, can you tell me how you got it off?

Probably just some mold release agent leeching out of the rubber, not mold and certainly not corrosion. Seen it on a bunch of cars (including my '06). Any trim or rubber cleaner or condtioner will take care of it.

Yup, that's mold release coming out of the rubber. Roll your windows down, clean them with vinyl/rubber cleaner you'd use detailing your car and let it dry. Done.

I had that, too.

My RL has had a little of that.

Is it really mold, or some other kind of secretion?

Mold release is a chemical that is used to aid a part coming out of a mold. Typical application is plastic injection molding. It is usually silicone based, with waxes and oils.
