I bought my RL last week and was out of town until after Christmas. When I packed my car to leave, the trunk would not close. It would click shut, then the car would beep and the trunk would re-open. I tried calling Roadside Assistance, but the wait became too long. So I "bundgied" the trunk shut and headed for the Acura dealer. Along the way, I realized that the 2nd remote was in one of my bags in the trunk. I stopped, removed the remote from my bag and lo and behold the trunk closed without a problem. Pretty Cool!!!

Mark, Yeah, that was one of the things my salesman made a point of bragging about when he demo'd the RL. Similarly, you can not lock your remote in the cabin either. Its nice when technology works to help us out. The RL has a lot of neat, well-thought-out touches that you will experience as you go on. Enjoy!

 

When I went to testdrive the RL, I too had the salesperson demonstrate that feature. It's definitely something nifty and is probably something the average person would do at least a few times while they own a car.
