Hello, I have a question about the connecting rods of J35a8 engines. The problem is, I do not live in USA and there are not many RLs or Legends in my country. Purchasing the part from USA is a solid possibility, but it would take about two weeks before it is delivered, so I would love to hear if these rods can be replaced with rods from other J series engine, maybe someone has had an unfortunate experience like mine that results in a bent rod

 

in the USA, engine from 2007-2008 Acura TL Type S is the same engine as Honda Legend KB1 the only thing difference is the camshaft (TL-S has hollow and slightly different profile). You can looking to buy a set of rod from 2007-2008 Acura TL Type S (3.5 litre) , I hope this help.
