Christmas party trip, lots of snow.
I should have uploaded these pictures last year but I didn’t so here they are now. The wifey and I were heading East on 90 last December for my companies Christmas party in Toronto from Cleveland. I had on the Dunlop Graspic DS-3’s that I just got last year so I was not worried one bit! Wife was sleeping when the visibility started to get really really bad, couldn’t see more than 10 feet in front of me, semis were sliding off the road left and right. RL was an absolute tank, never faltered once, even when I would hit huge snow drifts it didn’t pull the car in one direction or the other, my wife and I were very impressed. They ended up closing 90 that night and I had to get off the freeway and we spent the night in Chautauqua NY were we had been married just a year before. Woke up to even more snow! Cleared off the RL and headed back to the turnpike. When we went to pick up our ticket there was nobody there so I just drove through the gate. As I was driving onto the on-ramp the only way I could tell I was on the road was by max zoom on the navi. There were no other cars on the road except as you can see in the other pic vehicles getting off on the other side of the road. I drove east for maybe a mile but then the snow got too deep and the RL started to plow snow, turned around and drove the opposite way on the turnpike and never ran into another vehicle coming back. Turnpike attendant found it funny that I didn’t have a ticket coming back, found out 90 was still closed anyways. Waited it out a few hours and took a back road that flanked 90 until it opened back up closer to Buffalo. The RL was absolutely amazing and the Dunlop Graspic DS-3’s were amazing as well. I can’t wait for the snow to fall again next week!!

I work for a Canadian company and the wife and I stay with my boss (the owner) and his wife and kids for the weekend in Burlington so its more than just a one night trip. May happen again this year though who knows.
They are 225/55 17's, went down one size.

Ha meant the snow storm may happen again this year, and they have a hot tub so it may get kinky, jk no swinging in this house.
I love driving in the snow because it makes it more interesting.

Great pictures and great story! Last winter WAS pretty rough around here, I measured a season total of nearly 110" at my house last winter season.
Oh well, that's Cleveland and the area at the east end of shallow Lake Erie for ya!
