Correct, appears blue at times depending on lighting.

Yeah, Carbon Grey looks that way depending on the light. The Opulent Blue is almost black till the light hits it the right way then it's navy.

Same color as mine. For the most part it looks blue in the light.. of course that may be due to our beautiful clear and blue skies out here! :P

hey guys not sure if this was mentioned before, but what is the most common color? im starting to think GCP? lol i have a cgp/taupe

 

My family thought my car was blue on Thanksgiving... I was so pissed.

 

I had some one think my car was purple

My vote is for Carbon Gray Pearl.

Look at the specs. It is not close to anything else but Carbon Gray therefore it is carbon grey or it has been resprayed. If you light the car with pure red then the car will look red. The color of the paint should be judged with full spectrum illumination - sunlight works for most people.

 

Carbon Gray Pearl--the color I wish I had... Would've saved me a fortune in car washes.

 

If you keep washing the black, it should go to grey just before it turns to steel!

 

lol doesn't it like never rain in SoCal? Why do you need to constantly wash the car..

And it does rain or drizzle just enough to mess up the wash job.

 

CGP is only slightly better than black. My last two Acuras were white '93 Vigor (Frost White) and a '01 TL (White Dimond Pearl), and my last two Land Cruisers were white.

While it may seem the opposite, white does the best job of hiding dirt and paint imperfections, especially from a distance.

My favorite color. Was not too sure in the beginning, but have grown to it, and it reacts extremely well to a few coats Pinnacle Souveran. I actually get more comments on the paint/wax than the car itself.

 

Alright, we bought it for the princess. Thanks for the help...the dealership website said blue and the wifey does not like blue. It IS gray.

Specs: 43k miles, 2005, paid 20k.

It has the high speed whine and the headreasts in the rear don't pop up(are they supposed to?) And I haven't managed to get the Hands Free Link to work yet although I'm sure this is user error. I think I need to clear the PO's info out first. Anyone have a link on this?
