Hi everyone. I am new to this site, but really could use some help.

I just bought an 06 RL - with 112k. I had it fully checked at my local Acura dealer and they said it was in great shape.

Needless to say - the day I got it home the a/c stopped working.

I had to replace a couple things so far - first she needed a new cooling fan motor & blade and I just put in a brand new (oem) a/c compressor clutch, coil & drier - full evac & recharge.

When my mechanic got the new compressor and when he hooked the battery back up there was no power to the nav or a/c controls. The nav came back on - but there are no lights coming on for the a/c controls and obviously still no a/c - did I mention I love in South Florida!

When I started the car I got a wierd message on the nav screen that said "please operate climate control after starting engine".

We checked all the relays and the compressor is getting power.

Could it just be as simple as a new a/c control module?

Has anyone ever seen this message before??
