A/C control module?

Ok, here is the info after many hours of troubleshooting today. A/C is not working, just blowing hot, so it does have air that is blowing out of the vents. All of the controls inside of the car are lighting up and looking as if they are working. Refrigerant is fine and holding pressure, system has been leak tested with dye, with no leaks found. A/C compressor is NOT receiving power to it. Manually put power to the compressor and the compressor is functioning properly. I have checked the fuses with none of them being blown out. I played the relay swap-tronix game with no luck. Has anyone come across this problem or may possibly know what it might be? I was thinking maybe something with the climate control module, but was not sure if that would still let me use the controls on the dash. Or if there is maybe some inline fuse or relay that I am not seeing. Any help on the situation would be greatly appreciated. And it does not work in Automatic or Manual mode.

Have you dug through the service manual? It has good troubleshooting guides.

Thanks 007. I must have gotten a little too hot today and let one of the obvious things slip my mind. Forgot to do a search on the Forum for the RL Service Manual. Will do a search for that now and see if I can't fix this problem before the temp gets up over 100 again. Will update with a solution if it is found.

If you can't find it, it's in pieces in the Garage, 2nd sticky thread, and Carbon Legend has compiled it into one massive download. He made a thread that is linked in his sig.

Thanks, I was able to find it. I was up until about 3 this morning measuring voltage and reistance until I couldn't see straight trying to eliminate possibilities and running different diagnostics. Will get back at again today with a fresh set of eyes before I give up and bring it into the dealer to have them hook it up to the HDS.

Yes, both fans are running when the A/C button is showing on. Forgot to add that on my original post.

Assuming you swapped the a/c clutch relay with a known good one, I would check the connector on the driver side of the radiator (lower near the bottom) to make sure it is connected properly and you should be getting voltage between there and the a/c compressor connector

I ran a continuity check on the relay and it checked out alright. It is a normally open relay and there was no continuity between the #1 and #2 connectors which basically just showed it wasn't closed or shorted out. And to make sure I swapped it out with another relay that was being used for something that was known to be working. I have to bring my RL into the body shop this morning to get some hail damage fixed, so as soon as I get it back in about a week or so I will continue the troubleshooting. I will definitely check that out. Thanks. I was studying the wiring schematics last night on anything that could possibily be affecting it and I think I have it narrowed down to a few spots. Just need to get the multimeter back out and make some more measurements. Of course I have to wait now until the hail damage is fixed, which is probably going to drive me crazy not being able to figure out if I am right.

Pretty much replaced the whole system, but saved a good bit by doing almost all of it myself. So, in the end, new compressor, condenser, expansion valve, serpentine belt, used A/C control module, and I am sure I am forgetting something. A little bit of overkill, but where I live at, it is a piece of mind thing. Could have did it cheaper, but I am ok with what I did. I plan on owning the car for many more years, so hopefully this will last. And it is now blowing ice cold!

I am not sure what you are asking really. You didn't really state any symptoms or issues. If you are looking for an AC control module, you can pick a used one up on eBay for a decent price. I did a significant amount of troubleshooting myself before I replaced mine as well as the other parts I replaced. Sounds almost like you might need a new mechanic.
