Quality is expensive... the big box store Denso part has a 1year and lifetime warranty depending on which kit you buy.
FWIW labor is not cheap for a shop to put it on, it may be best to buy the whole compressor.
Also make sure they warranty it if you buy it.

Are there 2 ac pressure switches?
I was able to locate the high pressure switch on my 2005 Acura RL but I can't locate the low pressure switch? does the one act as a dual? The reason I'm asking is because the ac clutch engage for a brief moment then it stops. the mechanic says it's a bad coil because he's not getting a good ground reading. I did a little research and it says if the low and high pressure switches are not good then it sends a signal to the PCM not to release the ground to the coil. I replaced the high switch but can't locate the low one? Also how can I test the see if the PCM is good or not?
Thanks a bunch

You can get a used compressor. but...
go to a mechanic who is good with AC... he should be able to throw a stick down there and rub on the clutch till it takes again.. ones it runs.. it'll clean its space.. probably tust of dirt making it slide.

Done some research and found out that the only one AC pressure sensor has a triple function and will send a signal to PCM to turn off the relay for the AC compressor if pressure is too high or too low. but I'm wondering if the expansion valve has the same function in sending a signal to the PCM?

The system will deactivate the compressor if it detects any of the following conditions:
The evaporator temperature is less than 35° F. ................i take it this comes from the expansion valve?
Is there a way to check if the expansion valve good or bad? right now i don't have refrigerant in the car.............
Do you know where I can get a wiring diagram for 2005 acura rl?
Thanks

There's a ground in the climate control module. Been known to go bad & send folks on a wild goose chase problem solving an AC issue.
Climate control module would have to be replaced if that's the case. Perfect excuse for an 09'+ climate control upgrade which are reasonably priced on ebay.
