brake pad replacement protocol

Does the Acura factory service protocol require the rotors to be turned every time new pads are installed when having it done at an Acura dealer.

No, rotor replacement is only required if warped OR not within spec (ie., can't be turned, etc.)

I do not think it's required on Acura's part. If there's no vibrations/pulsing from braking, you do not need resurfacing. However, if the tech feels that it's out of spec, you will be charged accordingly; resurfacing or even a new rotor.

Besides, removing that Brembo type caliper to get to the rotor will cost you a lot of labor time.

If you are somewhat mechanically capable, watch this video.

What do you mean? Caliper is held on with two bolts. 2 mins with breaker bar. It's no different than any other car I've worked on. I haven't done fronts, only rear so far, very simple.
