Both HIR high beam bulbs failed - uprade suggestions?

I installed some Toshiba HIR bulbs for my high beams a few months ago, and I loved them.
I road tripped to a cousin's wedding which was on a farm at the end of a couple miles of gravel roads. When leaving the wedding, I hit the brights and they came on briefly, then nothing. Since i'd recently been working on the headlight switch I immediately suspected I'd goofed something.
After checking the fuses, and the headlight switch, I tried the bulbs, and voila!
Now I see Candlepowerinc.com no longer sells HIR to fit the 9005.
What is my second best choice?
I loved the brightness of the HIR, but I live in the city and seldom get to use high beams. It would be nice if the color of the DRL/High beam was closer to the low beams.

I had the same failure and another member sent this to me. I did not replace the HIRs so can't comment if the link is still valid.

Thanks foam!

I considered replacing them with Silverstar Ultras, or maybe even stock, but these things are so dang bright, I'm going to try them again.
