I am close to purchasing my new RL (hopefully by next week). I want a black on black. The dealer has one in stock, but it is the car that has been in the showroom. I've noticed that they have had the battery hooked up to a recharger a couple of times. This makes sense because to show the car they cannot start the engine, so they run the battery dry while showing the features. The salesman assures me that there is no problem with the battery, but I worry about the lifespan if it has been drained a few times.

Second question: It is priced at $49,470.00 which means it came out before the last price increase. I have read threads about software problems which have been fixed. How can I verify that this car has the latest updates?

Finally: are there any questions that anyone can recommend that I ask the dealer (at this point).

You can validate the application of the campaigns by having them show you the campaign notices and the corresponding marking on the vehicle above the VIN or on stickers placed for notification. I believe each campaign has a designated method for them to mark the car as having the service completed.
