Does anyone know if the 08 base model rl comes with the backup sensors and if they do how do I turn it on or activate it.

 

 

If it does you'll see the 4 telltale round sensors on the back bumper, If you don't see 'em, you don't got 'em

 

In 2008, the backup sensors were still a dealer-installed option. As noted above, if you don't have the four round sensors on your rear bumper, you don't have it. If you have it, you don't do anything to activate it, it activates automatically when you select reverse on the transmission. It emits a various number of beeps as you approach an obstacle.
