Back to the Acura world.

Hello ladies and gentleman. I am back on the forum. I used to have an 99 Acura TL, then I went off the grid and got a 99 Lexus gs300. Now i have my hands on an 05 Acura RL. never thought I would get one of these but the dude wanted 4k. It does have high mileage (213,000) but it rides well. I am going to get it pristine and maybe do something with it for a better look hahah. I like it so far. I wonder what I can do to it to make it even better.. Any thoughts

Get a professional headlight restore job done at an auto shop it will make the car look like new. Otherwise there's not much. The only people that will think it is cool are the other 12 people that own one. Myself included.

How did you like the GS? How would you compare it to the RL?

Just restored my lights myself with some polish and a DA polisher and they look so much better changes the whole front end. Also did a full paint correction and interior refresh. Paint looks awesome.

Also are your bump strips or lower front trim on the grill decomposing? If so maybe replacing those, cant see in the pics on my box at work

I use a chrome spray paint every 6 months on the grill/bump stip. It's not perfect but it looks good from 10 feet away. I tried to restore the headlights myself, but it didn't last long. The detail place did much better job than i did. But I didn't use a buffer. It made the car look new again. I do wax it often 3-4 times annually. Meat market - were you on CRN for awhile?

Congrats on your purchase. White was the original color I wanted when I was searching for my RL. I ended up getting black, it sure is a PITA to keep clean.

I'm with the others. A good detail and repair/replace items that start to show wear. This will make a world of a difference.
