Anyone Successfully Reset VSA/ABS/SH-AWD/AFS/BRAKE Warning Lights?
Currently have a christmas tree on my dash with the ABS/AFS/VSA/SH-AWD/BRAKE warning lights on. Battery and alternator are new and tested good so I know it's not a power issue.
Went to get my codes read since my cheap scanner doesn't read abs codes and I have codes for:
B1170 - Gauge control module lost comm. with VSA modulator control circuit
B2127 - Steering Angle sensor malfunction
U0122 - F-CAN VSA/PCM
P0700 - Automatic transaxle
B2145/B2145 - Left/Right AFS Gearbox motor swing error
I've seen online you can reset the abs and vsa using a wire or paperclip in the OBD2 port, and I've also seen that this is caused by a faulty ABS module.
Before I go ordering a used ABS module I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and was able to fix it without replacing the module?
Was also wondering if this could be caused by an abs sensor or afs sensor.
Any help is appreciated! Cars been this way for a while now and I almost cannot stand driving it with it being in FWD and no ABS or traction control. Especially since it's winter time and I'm in Chicago lol.

The fix is out there
I can’t link it right now but the fix is posted on this site. You’ll find it. It involves jumping some pins on the obs port and pushing the brake pedal. Let me know if you find it.

Here is the link I originally posted. The video you posted is not the one I had in mind. Although. You can probably try that by borrowing a good scanner from an auto parts store.

if this link doesn’t work then search my posts and search for:

doing this doesn't help at all. Tried this before I made this post.
All it does is show DTC's on my dash. ABS light doesn't turn off or flash.
This is why I asked if the process is different on RL's

Hello,
maybe you have to do the "VSA sensor neutral position memorization". I had this problem after deleting all DTCs. I can't remember if I had all the same warning lights as you, but it could be. I found the solution here:
https://www.tsxclub.com/threads/erro...ization.31353/
If all DTC are erased then do this:
VSA neutral position setting
Do not touch the brake pedal anymore.
1) Jump pins 4 and 9.
2) Turn the ignition on, after ABS light turns off, quickly press the "VSA off" button.
3) After ABS light turns on again, quickly press the "VSA off" button.
4) Now shoud be a lot of different blinks and fashes and all lights ABS, VSA and triangle should turn off. The problem's solved.
5) Open the beer bottle!
Hope this helps

As I just said above, doing that I had no success. The ABS light never turns off after jumping the pins and holding the brake down and turning the ignition on, so I'm not able to reset it that way....

purchased the foxwell scanner and it did not clear these lights.
follow this procedure (you need to do both in order! one then the other!) and if there is not a hard fault with the system it should clear :
