Anyone put 06 AC compressor in 05 RL?
Anyone put 06 AC compressor in 05 RL?
I read a thread where Acura changed the AC compressor when making the 06, and now all these 05 owners since the start, have had problems, but not with 06''s.
My compressor went out last week, at least thats what my shop said, and also said I need a dryer and new serp belt. My buddy at AutoZone said if I want a compressor with a warranty, I need a bunch of other stuff. But most posts on here are from people that took their car to the shop. How many of you did this yourself?
I am at 112k miles and need to do my timing belt, so If I do AC condensor before timing belt, Im gonna have to go back to the radiator and drain it for the water pump install. and thats extra fluid and money. I feel like I should do it all in one go.
Any thoughts?
