Am I the only one who hates cleaning the back window?

Am I the only one who hates cleaning the back window?
Cleaning the inside of the RL's back window is quite possibly the least pleasant experience I've ever had and I've cleaned tons of cars. It's not just the angle, it's the height of the parcel shelf and the way the back seat is designed. It makes it very difficult to get a good angle with the cloth to clean the window.
I can get the job done...it's just not easy or fun. Anybody else notice this?

Yup, it's horrible. Most rear windows are pretty bad but the RL's is among the worst. I'm anal about clean windows...a single streak will drive me nuts to the point where if I see a streak, I pull over and clean it (I have a mini detailing kit in the trunk). When I do the rear window, I make sure it's "perfect" so I don't have to do it for a long time after.

I agree 100% but would add the front is not much better. I have tried just about every product and every method. The windows look clean until the sun shines through them at a certain angle and than I swear they look worse than before I started this horrible task.

we got tired of streaks on windows. Went to a local Janitorial shop. He handed us some professional glass cleaner that is used with a glass mop and squeegee. We said it is inside a car too - he said put one drop of the stuff in water and put it in a spray bottle. I thought he was BS'ing me but we tried it. We have not had one streak form and windows stay clean for weeks without that haze building up. As to the RL - try wiping the window with the rag on the back of your hand and keep the cloth folded and flat as much as possible. You can get down into the corners that way instead of with your palm.
When I said 1 drop - it means really only one drop. We figure this bottle will last a life time. We also use it on the house windows.

Does this thing really work? I have tried microfiber towels or varying density, but they do a poor job getting the haze off the windows unless they're wet, and sometimes leaves lint. I'm leery of the "As Seen On TV" products, but our rear window is a PITA to keep clean. And I could use it on other cars. Plus, it was just my birthday.

Well, if you use "dash treatment" of any kind, ie ArmorAll , silicone, leather treatment on the rear headrests, the stuff will leave deposits on the inside of your f/r windows in the days following. So, you just have to clean them again, to get the haze off.
I've been having great results with "Invisible Glass" in the aerosol canister, and good results (great on the outside) with the pump spray version. Very clean windows result, w/o streaks or haze.
