Hi,

I did a search for this and found a smattering of info regarding what fluid changes you do at 60K. I bought the car with 53K and I am sneaking up on the 60K mark. I bought new tires and changed the brake fluid. What does everyone suggest?

 

if you just bought the car, I'd change every fluid..

-transmission fluid.
-coolant
-oil
-differential
-brake
-etc.

 

Change your:

Engine oil: 5w-20, 0w-20 if way up north, 5w-30 if temps get over 100.
Transmission fluid: Acura ATF-DW1
Transfer case: (?)80w-90(?) hypoid gear oil
Rear differential (2 chambers)- Acura SH-AWD or Honda Dual Pump II fluid

Check/top off:
Brake fluid
Coolant
Power steering (only use Honda power steering fluid)

All recommended fluids are listed at the very end of the manual except transmission and diff. Those have been updated since the manual was printed.

Your 60k service calls for engine, trans, transfer, and diff.

Oil change
Tire rotation
ATF
Transfer case fluid
Rear diff fluid
Air filter
Cabin filter
Alignment
