30k Mi. Maintenance

This morning my car finally turned over 30,000 miles. I knew there was a 30k mile service that is supposed to take place. But shouldn't I have seen a maintenance minder as this is a required servce? I think I'm missing something here.
Thanks...

I just read the manual on the issue, as my car turned over 30k miles in the last two weeks. There is nothing about a "30k mile" service. It only mentions following the Maintenance Minder. If the dealer is sweating you for a 30k service, it's the dealer's recommendation, not Acura's.

I thought I had read about the 30k service in the manual, but after your response I gave it a second thought. The last time at the dealer, I asked when the next major service was and the SM told me 30K miles.
Now I can cancel the appt. I set up this morning and in the future, I will let the RL tell me when service is due. Thanks

Correct.

Maintenance Minder 6 Scheduled Maintenance

Recommended service:

Replace rear differential fluid
Driving in mountainous areas at very low vehicle speeds or trailer towing results in higher level of mechanical (shear) stress to fluid. This requires differential fluid changes more frequently than recommended by the Maintenance Minder. If you regularly drive your vehicle under these conditions, have the differential fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).
