at 25~40 mph, metal grinding noise. Help!

My car is Honda Legend(Acura RL) 2009, sometimes, not always, I hear metal grinding noise when I accelerate 25~40mph.
No noise when I cruise and I accelerate lower and higher speed than 25~40mph speed.
Some people say it is related to Torque converter or Tensioner etc....
I think the sound is heard from passenger side, around the engine or timing belt. It seems like a bearing problem.
Actually, I'm not sure..... Does anybody go through the same thing?
Thank you.

Best regards.

why don't you try and jack the car up and manually rotate the tire to see if it is a bearing related? a mechanic's stethoscope may help

Thank you for your answer!
Manually rotating the related bearing may help!
Unfortunately, when I go to the dealership, the sound disappeared....
And when I go back home, could the sound again
I think the mechanic also is hard to solve the problem..

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing. Just as Thoiboi recommended, jack car up on all four. Spin each wheel and shake from 12 to 6 and 3 to 9 oclock positions to see if the bearing is bad.

Your mention that you hear the noise when accelerating makes me suspicious that this might not be a wheel bearing at all. Are you sure you hear it specifically when accelerating, and not whenever you're going 25-40? If so, this could be in the transmission instead. There's enough information. But can it be a drive belt whine? or that belt's pulley?

I've read before on here whines at certain speeds only can be also drive shaft?

Need to add info like, if u're in park, and rev it up, do you hear it.

The driveshaft could cause a whine, but probably not "a metal grinding noise."

Also, if the noise occurs only in curves such as expressway ramps or sweepers, I'd change out both chambers of the rear differential fluid. It's cheap, it should be done anyway, and it crosses off the possibility of metal shaving stuck in the rear diff, which happened to me (although my noise occurred only when accelerating in low-speed tight turns, such as from a stop).

Thank you for your reply! When I rotate the tire, should I put the gear on neutral?

I rarely listen to this sound. My car made noise very intermittently. I can't figure the noise where it is from!

After one years~

I replaced below
timing belt set ( Water pump, Drive belt, Crank Shaft pulley etc.) Front and Rear brake pads. Battery, Alternator, Coolant, Engine Oil, Oil pressure Switch, Neutral Safty Switch.

Even though the sound appears, if I take off the accelerating pedal that sound disappears.
I think this issue is related to 'accelerating
I've never heard the sound on the highway. I only can hear the sound at low speed and with first to second gear or second to third gear(I'm not sure)
However, I assume that the sound is originated from the passenger side (This may be wrong)
Could this be transmission issue?
