09 RL Transmission questions
So i'm new to this forum but i have a few questions that nobody can answer and hope you guy will be able to!
I don't own an RL, but I am planning to buy one at the end of the summer and build it next winter.
One of my concern is the transmission/tranfercase.
the one im interested in is the 5speed with paddle shifts and I cant seem to find any info on this car transmission
1. Does anybody know what type of transmission it is?
2. Does anybody knows how much power they can handle? (Looking for a 400ish at the wheels)
3. Is there any other maybe, bulkier or even a manual transmission that can fit to this car? ( Without alot of fitting)
Thanks alot.

And on top of that, the car will not be reliable at all!!
most of the 3g TL'ers have second or third cars. As they are always working on the TL.
Just a lot of time and money involved. And as I get older, there are way more important things to do with money than to blow it on cars
