Whats are you guys thoughts on a 2010 Rl with 169,900 for $9000 I was looking at something like this and needed some advice . Its a 1 owner timing belt and water pump already done no accidents and serviced regular at Acura.
i seen a car like that on cars.com and that (imo) is not a good buy just for the simple fact that it's at 170. For that get an older model like an 05-08 with way less miles.
Simply put, I would walk away if I were you, unless you're a pretty accomplished home mechanic. Doesn't matter how well the car was cared for at this point - there's a finite lifespan to mechanical parts and you're going to be approaching it in a lot of instances. You may not have drivetrain issues, but a lot of other parts may start to fail on you. Do you want your ownership experience to be punctuated constantly by annoying things like window regulators, various sensors, suspension work, etc? You're far better off finding a car that's younger mileage-wise.
