05 Rl stumbles as it...
I've had two breakdowns requiring having the car towed considerable distances due to "alleged" fuel pump problems...an Acura dealer replaced the first one about a year ago and said that the problem was a "vapor lock-fuel not getting to the fuel rail". They also said that the recall that was current at the time regarding the defective electronics did not apply to my vehicle. When the car refused to start that time, I had no prior indication that there was any problem whatsoever.
I just had that fuel pump replaced by a Honda dealer who found trash in the tank requiring the tank to be removed and cleaned out and yet another replacement of the fuel pump. This time, the car began "stumbling" whenever I lifted my foot off the gas and then attempted to resume speed while on the interstate. The car eventually quit running at speed altogether. It continued to crank and move while idling, but wouldn't run at RPM's.
The total cost to me for these two breakdowns has been over $2,000.
The Acura dealer is in Jackson, MS and the Honda dealers are in Jackson, MS and Shreveport, LA.
I'd certainly be interested in knowing what your problem is eventually determined to be.
I'd also be interested in knowing whether any other owners have been having similar problems.

I recently took my '94 Honda Accord out of mothballs...it had been essentially parked in the pasture in from of my house since I purchased the RL in 2005.
The Honda began looking like a brick of gold after one or two $75 fillups for the Acura last summer.
So, I'm driving the Honda during the week...it's now over 467,000 miles. I had some maintenance done and a couple of repairs and it's been fun driving it again. The mouse smell is almost all gone! It's a little like getting into a sports car after tooling around in the Acura...nobody believes me when I say this.
I drive the Acura mostly going back and forth to my Mississippi home base from my work location...on weekends whenever I can, so the mileage is accumulating more slowly on the RL these days...somewhere around 700 to 800 miles a weekend.
The Honda still gets about 30 on regular gas. It's a 4 cylinder. The Acura is getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 26 to 29 for the kind of long distance driving I'm using it for...and that's at "not legal" speeds.
Considering the mileage, the Honda looks quite good...it's been well taken care of.

467,000 miles???
wow!
that is awesome.
Have you had the Accord since new?
What percentage of the mileage would you say has been highway and which has been city?
I used to have an old Acura Integra that i thought was incredible. But it only got me to 200,000 miles. Had to let it go after that.
You should put that car on hondabeat.com. It has a section for high mileage cars.

I know exactly what you're saying about the sporty feel.
I have a 97 Honda EX Coupe 5 Speed with 248K and on the second set of plugs. Besides the battery, brake pads, and timing belt/water pump, everything is huming along on reg. gas.
