VSA concerns with changing tire sizes

Is this a concern for anyone? Especially for winters. I'm in Toronto, Canada

Driving with varying tire or wheel sizes may cause the VSA to malfunction. When replacing tires, make sure they are of the same size and type as your original tires

are you planning on driving with varying tire or wheel sizes????????????????? last I checked, winter tires should all be uniform, as should the wheels.

No, they'll all be the same size. But I'm looking to get used rims and possibly tires and it seems like it may be difficult to make sure the size aka rotational diameter is the same as the stocks...

yea, but if I get 17" rims and the originally recommended rims are 18" i need to get larger tires on the 17's so that the diameter matches up

there's plenty of calculators online to help you with this...

if you're going down to 17" for winters, your tires should be 235/65/17. virtually same diameter as oem 18" and it won't change the look too much
your wheels should be 17x7-8. anything bigger or smaller will work but not as well
