Will CRV Springs Fit the RDX

I need to either find a solution to the ride of my 2013 or get rid of it. It's the worst riding car I've ever owned by far...and that includes sports cars.

does anyone know if crv springs will swap out with the rdx? I'm sure they're somewhat softer and it's worth spending $600 + or - for the labor instead of $1000's for a Q5 or X3

Like an idiot I took the dealers test drive route instead of one with real road conditions

You might as well get rid of it. The CRV uses struts in the rear and the RDX uses conventional shocks and springs. So the answer is no they don't interchange.

Straying from OEM usually is for the worse.
You'll dislike the vehicle even more so, even If they did fit.

Trade the vehicle in for something you enjoy.

Two things to check are your tire air pressure, and the tread depth remaining on the tires. A tire with less than 1/2 the original tread depth remaining will have a firmer ride.....less rubber to cushion the bumps. Make sure the recommended air pressure (listed on the door post) is followed on a cold tire. I think on the highway, the RDX is as smooth as they get. Around town, once I replaced the rear shocks with KYB's, it is firm but quiet ride.

actually I found what was driving me crazy. last time at the dealer they reduced the air pressure to 29 lbs.

they must be getting complaints of it being too stiff as the roads here in so. cal. are awful, they're old and full of patches.

the problem is low air pressure makes the car even worse, it does not make it smoother. after raising it to 38 (it makes no sense I know) it actually rides much better. obviously still stiff but no more "bounding" up and down.

I still think the car is way too stiff though for bad roads. on smooth highways though the car is amazing.

the RDX is not stiff at all....not even close. The RDX is not very quiet over bumpy roads at all but the ride is not stiff. Try riding in a 02 CLS over the same roads, now that is stiff...
