Weak Ventilated Seats

Hi all, today was the first warm day and wanted to try out the ventilated seats on our new 2018 RDX Elite, bought in feb. Sooooo, when I push the button to the max ventilated seat level I can hear the whine of the fans (sounds like a shitty computer fan to be honest and is quite loud for a premium car) but worse off is - I can’t actually feel any air coming out of the seats. WTF? Are they even working? Is there something blocking the airflow?

Any help would be appreciated!

It takes a few minutes to feel the cool air. Also it is just circulating the cabin air into the seat so if its still hot inside the car, you will be circulating the hot air. On a hot day, it usually takes 10 min or so for the car to cool down enough for me to feel the cool air through the seat. Feels so good when it does though.

Hmm thanks for the info. Was about to post the same question until I stumbled on this thread.

I bought my CPO '16 Elite last November and only tried out the ventilated seats recently. It's slightly disappointing compared to my friend's Lexus in which you can actually feel the cold air coming through the seats at a reasonable pressure. Was going to ask the dealer to take a look at it but I guess I won't bother and just accept that poor performance.
