Ventilated Seats

Now that we have perforated leather seats (like the Mercedes E500 I also like) - wouldn't be nice to have cool air coming from the bottom and rear of the seat in the summer ?

I've seen some kits that allow drivers to retro-fit leather seats.

Here in Houston, TX we could use a little cooling, specially with dark ebony leather seats!

I think the way it works, is that a fan under the seat pushes cool air from an A/C vent into the bottom and rear of the seat.
Is that it?

Have you seen this kit anywhere ?

Another thing I recommend you guys do, is treat your windshield with Aquapel treatment from PPG.

much better technology than Rainex.

You can get Ventilated Seats put into the car if you take out the two front seats and put in Recaros. www.recaronao.com Also, Brookstone and Sharper Image sell a $20 pad that you put over the seat that sucks in air and cools you, plus it massages you. I'll try to find it.

Thanks for the dating service.

As for ventilated seats, I would have swallowed my pride with the horrible offer the dealer made me, if this car had heated seats.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the future!

The TL DOES have heated seats, standard. Did you mean something else?

Also - My last car (Solara) had the perforated leather and was never uncomfortable during the L.A. Summers. I think further cooling is unnecesary.
