Water leakage

Our '14 has water run down and in, when it is raining and the door is opened, or window is even just cracked open. Probably a design flaw that cannot be fixed, but I'll still mention it at our first service.
Otherwise, love the car.

Welcome to the forums.

Please do not post 3 threads in succession just to make a change. If you missed something, post it in the existing thread. I deleted your other two threads.

I'm pretty sure you can't edit, but when your account is upgraded you will be able to edit for 15 minutes after you submit the post, so bear that in mind for the future.

all cars will have water run down and in when the door window is open. as long as the water is not coming in when the door is closed, it's good. the reason the water comes in is that is being foreced in by the higher outside pressure (wind of driving). Use the sunroof in the tilted up position instead as the air rushing over the panel creates a low pressure zone and the air will be sucked out and water will not come in the car.

I understand, but the biggest issue is water dripping down on the seat, when stopped, and the door is opened. Aggravating.

All cars do not have water coming in when the window is open. Many have better design to channel the water over the top of the door. This is a design flaw and very irritating to me as my cheap ass 04 Jeep Liberty was much better in this regard. I would buy aftermarket deflectors but there aren't any for the 2013/14 RDX. One of several disappointments with this car.
