Rear view camera - no green color

Does your rear view camera show green colors (i.e. grass, trees, etc)? It looks like mine shows all colors ok, but instead of green it shows grey. I wonder if this is by design or something is wrong with mine.

votnet...Mine is very similar. It does not show the perfect color balance but I don't think they designed it to be perfectly color balanced....its just to help back up, not watch movies (lol)

Yeah, that's true. It doesn't bother me, just thought maybe there is a diffect.
Thanks. It would be nice though to be able to watch movies, or have full time rear view while driving forward

You got be careful now when you stop on the side of the road to pee...I'd hate to standby the back of the vehicle and have someone turn the cam on *lol*

I think it may be by design; greens look grey on my rear view camera as well.

HMMMM? Interesting - I just posted about this somewhere else. I just traded in a Honda Crosstour and was loaned a 2013 Civic today while my accessories were put on my new RDX - and both the Crosstour and Civic's backup camera is much nicer compared to the RDX - the picture is crisper and the colors are perfect. While I love my new RDX, it's just surprising to me that the camera isn't as good as the Crosstour's and Civic's.

Our 2011 Odyssey had a nicer camera than the 2013 rdx. We have a 2013 Odyssey now and it lacks green as well.

That is correct. He will blend in with the pavement and you will drive over him leaving a patch of green slime on the parking lot. They will then have to hire his brother to do the commercials.

I really like the way Subaru does their camera on the Outback. The line colors are green, yellow & red based on how close you are to the object.

^ That seems interesting, so they change color the closer you get? My cadenza has green and parking sensors that beep along with a birds eye view of the car and whats behind it and where its located.

The RDX camera is night and day much better than the camera on the Nissan Altima or Pathfinder. The camera on the Nissan is almost useless since you can't see the display in any sunlight and even at night, it is pretty dim.

I'm glad that I can't see green on my new RDX back up camera. I HATE green. I do not have one single item of clothing that is green. My years in the U.S army might have done it to me. EVERY "F" ing thing was green!

I like blue. I have lots of blue shirts, the sky (in Fl) is blue. The water in the Gulf is blue. I don't ever like Irish people.... I hate green so bad.

next question....?
